Beaulieu International Group opens the position of Innovation Project Engineer for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

An Innovation Project Engineer at Beaulieu International Group works in the innovation team, is responsible for setting up and executing innovation projects in a multidisciplinary team (operations, sales, business development and R&D), for market driven innovation, designing value solutions for our customers and other stakeholders in the value chain. An Innovation Project Engineer also defines projects, sets up experiment iterations, interprets results, reports conclusions and next steps. 

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Engineering or Chemistry.  Preference is given to curiosity-driven and pragmatic solution thinkers. 

Beaulieu offers a 2-day Job Shadowing experience. The dates suggested for Job Shadowing are 8 & 9 October. Job Shadowing will take place at the Experience Center B.I.G. Rijksweg, Wielsbeke.
