ArcelorMittal opens the position of Specialist Logistic Applications for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

A Specialist Logistic Applications at ArcelorMittal is involved with software engineering, modeling, steering and optimising complex systems.

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, .... Preference is given to candidates who are fluent in Dutch, as most meetings will be conducted in Dutch. 

ArcelorMittal offers a 1- or 2-day Job Shadowing experience. The dates suggested are 7 and/or 14 October.
