ArcelorMittal opens the position of Process Modeling Specialist for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

A Process Modeling Specialist at ArcelorMittal builds & manages models for production processes in the steel plant. Models are mainly used for simulation or for process control purposes.

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Modeling, Engineering. Preference is given to candidates who have a working knowledge of Python & C#. 

ArcelorMittal offers a 1- day Job Shadowing experience. The dates suggested are 7 or 9 October.
