Confo Therapeutics opens the position of R&D Scientist for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

The candidate selected for Job Shadowing will be considered a Confo colleague that day. He/she will participate in discussions amongst R&D members and experience what the tasks of scientists are at Confo. The candidate will also participate in team meetings etc. Prior to this, we will explain the activities of Confo, technology, pipeline, mission and vision in a separate meeting. HR will join and explain the core values of our company. Lab tour and lunch with colleagues is part of the visit. Q&A is done all day long. A non-disclosure agreement (CDA) will need to be signed and Confo will take care of all admin for this.  

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Life Sciences, with focus on Biotechnology and Biochemistry. Candidates are expected to have a firm knowledge of
English. 

Confo Therapeutics offers a 1-day Job Shadowing experience. The exact date between 6 and 17 October will be decided upon in close consultation with the selected candidates.
