KU Leuven Libraries opens the position of Team Leader Research Support for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

The Team Leader Research Support at KU Leuven - Artes Research coordinates and oversees the delivery of specialized digital scholarship services for researchers at the Faculty of Arts. This role involves managing a team of experts who provide personalized guidance on scholarly publishing, research data management, and digital humanities tools. The Team Leader ensures the smooth operation of research support activities, including individual consultations, workshops, training modules (such as the Digital Scholarship module for PhD students), and internship programs. The Team Leader also plays an active role in supporting the implementation of open scholarship policies at KU Leuven Libraries and the Faculty of Arts.

KU Leuven offers a 1-day Job Shadowing experience. The date for Job Shadowing will be decided upon in close consultation with the selected candidate.
