Pfizer opens the position of Team Leader ECO Sampling for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

The Team Leader ECO Sampling is responsible for the activities of the ECO Sampling Support Team within the ECO Sampling department, part of Micro Operations. These activities involve daily support for ECO sampling, including equipment and supplies management, building MODA sampling plans and providing MODA expertise, improvement projects related to ECO sampling, and supporting the “Culture Program: Samples are Gold” initiative.

The responsibilities of the Team Leader ECO Sampling include: organizing and planning the team’s activities to ensure efficient and effective output; acting as team leader for a group of engineers and analysts; training, coaching, and developing team members (including providing feedback and performance evaluations); supporting and embedding IMEx elements within the team; overseeing the team’s daily operations: providing day-to-day support for MODA, supplies, and ECO sampling equipment; coordinating improvement activities within your team and leading improvement projects related to ECO sampling activities and media; and monitoring and reporting on the team’s objectives. 

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Pharmacy, Drug Development, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry, Bioscience Engineering, Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Mechanical and Electrical Systems Engineering, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences. Preference is given to candidates with a firm knowledge of Dutch.
