Greenpeace Belgium opens the position of Campaigner & Spokesperson for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

A Campaigner at Greenpeace Belgium works on the public campaign on phasing out fossil fuels, more specifically fossil gas in the EU and Belgium. This means keeping up with the content of this domain - policy, geopolitical context, public and political opportunities for change, etc. and engaging with other colleagues on how to communicate on this to the outside world, which research to develop, which tactics to deploy, ...
A Spokesperson (NL) at Greenpeace Belgium is the main voice for audio-visual media for the organisation - this means staying updated on everything that happens in the campaigns, nationally and internationally  - as well as often representing Greenpeace in coalitions with other actors in civil society.

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs from all academic disciplines. Preference is given to candidates with a firm knowledge of English, and a good notion of Dutch & French. 

Greenpeace Belgium offers a 1-day Job Shadowing experience. The date of Job Shadowing will be decided in close consultation with the selected candidate.
