Boerenbond opens the position of Consultant for Dairy Farmers for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

A Consultant for Dairy Farmers provides advice to dairy farmers on legislation, farm economics and accounting, amongst other topics. In addition, the Consultant for Dairy Farmers offers training sessions on various themes and supports groups of volunteers within the tiered structure of the Boerenbond.
   

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Bioscience Engineering, Agricultural Science or (Bio-)Economics. Preference is given to candidates with a firm knowledge of Dutch.

Boerenbond offers a 2-day Job Shadowing experience. The dates suggested for Job Shadowing are 9 and 10 October. Job Shadowing will take place at the Diksmuidsesteenweg 406/4, 8800 Roeselare.
