Akkodis opens the position of Scientific Writer for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with this particular job function. 

A Scientific Writer at Akkodis drafts, updates and coordinates the documents for submission to healthcare authorities; assists scientific experts in preparing documents; looks after compliance with documentation requirements (good documentation practices, templates, etc.); coordinates document development, review and finalization; organizes, prepares, and chairs comment resolution meetings; presents findings in a clear and accurate manner; and ensures the high quality of the written documents.

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs with a background in Biology, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine. Preference is given to candidates with a firm knowledge of English, who are detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Word. 

Akkodis offers a 1-day Job Shadowing experience. The date suggested for Job Shadowing is either 7 October or 8 October.  Job Shadowing will take place in Avenue Edison 19, Wavre.
