KBC opens its NON-LIFE Policy Department for the purpose of Job Shadowing, offering PhD candidates (≥ 3rd year of the PhD trajectory) / postdocs affiliated with 1 of the 5 Flemish universities the possibility to see for themselves what tasks and responsibilities come with particular job functions in this department. 

During Job shadowing, different jobs within the non-life policy departement will be shown. Job Shadowing will be split into 4 half days: 1. following a half day with the general manager of the departement, 2. operational management of large claims, 3. policy non-life: how do we keep our products up-to-date, 4. actuarial/reinsurance department: correct pricing of non-life products

> Open to PhD candidates / postdocs from all academic backgrounds: can be legal profiles, all kind of STEM profiles, … Candidates are expected to be curious and enthousiastic, and should have a firm knowledge of Dutch. 

Bank Van Breda offers a 2-day Job Shadowing experience. The dates suggested for Job Shadowing are 7 and 14 October.
